Vroeger Was Alles Beter / The Rockin' Windmill Show



A number of special shows started September 1, 2011. In Jack van Oers' rock ’n roll program the story of the rock 'n roll hits from the Billboard Hot-100 was told. The first record played reached the nr. 100 position. In the following shows the hits were bigger and more popular. After 30 episodes we reached the end of this story. It was time for:


The final episode of the rock en roll hits (Billboard Hot-100).


On Thursday May 3, 2012 this final 3 hours show aired on Radio Rucphen FM. One after another succesfull singles was played. Only those reaching the number 1 position in the US charts were played.


Main artist was of course Elvis Presley. He is after all the one and only King of Rock 'n' Roll. The last record was the legendary single Rock Around The Clock by Bill Haley & his Comets.


Presentator Jack van Oers got help from Johan van Peer.  In this show Jack and Johan shared information about the artists and their records. 




Only smash hits were on the turntable. One classic after another. How could you stay in your lazy chair while hearing these fantastic songs.
