Rock-it Radio started back in 1995 and one of the first pioneer internet radio stations beginning in 1997. Our format is of 50s and early 60s Rock and Roll – Including the sub genres of Rockabilly, Doo Wop along with early Rhythm and Blues. Many of our DJ’s are actually from the era and spun the records first hand back in the 50s and 60s. We have over 20 DJ’s programming now for Rock-it Radio. And each show is archived for on demand playing for 2 to 3 weeks.
Besides playing music from the first decade of Rock and Roll. Our DJ’s have a wealth of knowledge of the music industry and the music of the 50s and 60s.
We also produce a weekly free newsletter describing each show and it’s playlist. It’s free and when you join the Rock-it Radio Listener’s Club you will receive it.
We also offer several relevant links from Doo Wop and Rockabilly links to tuning into Internet Radio. Just check the menu on the left of this webpage. We strive to have Rock-it Radio give the most of any of the roots Rock and Roll internet radio stations out there today.

Op de website van Rock-it Radio lazen we het volgende:
Rock-it Radio is begonnen in 1995 en was een van de eerste pioniers op het gebied van internet radio stations. Hiermee werd in 1997 gestart. Ons formaat is jaren 50 en begin jaren 60 Rock and Roll muziek. Dit is inclusief stromingen als Rockabilly en Doo Wop maar ook Rhythm en Blues. Vele van onze DJ’s komen uit die oude tijd en hebben veelal die oude platen zelf in de hand gehad. We hebben meer dan 20 DJ’s die programma’s maken voor Rock-it Radio. En elke show is beschikbaar om af te spelen gedurende 2 a 3 weken.
Buiten het draaien van muziek uit het eerste decennium van de Rock and Roll hebben onze DJ’s een heleboel kennis van zaken op het gebied van de muziekindustrie en de muziek uit de jaren 50 en 60. Wij verzorgen ook een wekelijkse nieuwsbrief waarin elke show beschreven staat inclusief de afspeellijsten. Het is geheel gratis en je hoeft je alleen maar in te schrijven bij de Rock-it Radio Listener’s Club om deze nieuwsbrief te ontvangen. Bij ons kun je ook diverse interessante links vinden naar Doo Wop en Rockabilly sites inclusief links die naar Internet Radio stations verwijzen. Wij streven ernaar om Rock-it Radio de beste te laten zijn van de Rock and Roll internet radio stations die er heden ten dage zijn.
